East Wing of Newton Kyme Hall is our home and a setting for
plants by design.
We are developing a garden that responds to its dramatic setting, borrowing from the landscape beyond and creating a unique sense of place.
Newton Kyme is a small Yorkshire village on the banks of the River Wharfe near Tadcaster
Our meadow is an ever changing picture, a rich haven for wildlife and a reminder of the need to enhance biodiversity at every opportunity.
We divided up the lawn with some parts more regularly cut and a meadow to provide seasonal interest.
We were fortunate that our lawn grasses are not too aggressive. We let them grow instead of cutting and planted wild flower plugs and a meadow seed mix to produce this result.
